The Third Age
The Third Age
I’ve reached the third age,
I don’t get a wage,
No targets, less tension,
More time and a pension
The grandkids come Sundays,
It’s lunch date on Mondays,
I’ve joined an art class,
I use my bus pass
My walking is slowing,
But I just keep going,
With clubs and fundraising,
My life is amazing
Sometimes I’m so busy
That I feel rather dizzy
So I might need to take
A ‘back to work’ break
