Hallelujah

Hallelujah

A heavenly host of angels heralded a royal birth
The King of all creations son would come down to live on earth
Born from a virgins womb as the scriptures had foretold
Witnessed by three wise men bearing myrrh frankincense and gold
Swaddled in a manger without pomp or ceremony
A child who’d grow into a man and fulfill his destiny
To walk amongst the world and teach us how to live
By his own example showed  the importance to forgive
He commanded us to share Gods love with everyone we meet
Be they Prince or pauper living homeless on the street
He promised our salvation if we believed in him
Obeyed the Ten Commandments and abstained from habitual sin
His death and resurrection was his ultimate act of love
When he bought us our redemption
and immortality in heaven above
As we celebrate his birth on this Christmas Day
Let us join together united as we pray
For guidance and deliverance from those with malintent
Solution for a peaceful world where we can live content
