Laptop for disadvantaged pensioner
Watch this postCan anyone recommend a laptop that can be so simple that the user can just switch it on and it'll start very quickly, have the ability for only 4 or 5 icons/apps to be viewed and to be selected and that will automatically seek out a network. The unit will not need to be portable and battery length is not a problem, nor is cost.. Just need a really simple solution for my sister who has certain educational/intellectual limitations

If you have a John Lewis near you they are very good with their knowledge of computers and their aftercare is excellent. I am sure if you explain your sisters abilities and your requirements for her they will advise you properly. I hope this helps. Regards Brenda.
